Who we are

Umriden is a small brand selling argan and rose products made by women’s cooperatives in Morocco. The shop is currently operated by Climate Sirens LLC (Puerto Rico, USA), and is moving to Umriden, a company being registered in Portugal. We will update this notice when that happens.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you reserve a bottle, ask to hear about a product in the works, or subscribe to our letters.
• What you chose: the bottles you reserved, or the products you ticked as interesting.

We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers on this website. Your bag is remembered in your own browser only, and never sent to us.

What we use it for

• To write when your reserved bottles are ready.
• To tell you when a product you asked about becomes available.
• To send our occasional letters, if you subscribed to them.
• To understand which products people want, so we know what to make next.

We use your email only because you gave it to us for these reasons (your consent). We never sell it or share it for others’ marketing.

Where it is kept

Your email is stored in our Shopify store, which manages our customer list and emails. Shopify may store data outside the European Union, under its own safeguards; see Shopify’s privacy policy. When you submit a form, Shopify may set its own cookies. This website is hosted by Cloudflare.

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Changing your mind

• Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to info@umriden.com.
• If you live in the EU and are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority. In Portugal, that is the CNPD.
