Provenance
Every bottlehas a name on it.
Wine names its vineyard. Coffee names its farm. We name the cooperative, and the women in it.
Umriden is a small house of Moroccan rituals, made with women-led cooperatives. Nothing is anonymous: who grew it, who pressed it, who filled it is printed into the bottle itself.
It is the same reason a good tailor tells you which mill the cloth came from. Knowing is part of what you are buying.
- Who
- Women-led cooperatives in Morocco. Our rose argan comes from the Rosa Damaskina Cooperative.
- What they earn
- About twice the local rate for the oil they press.
- How you know
- A QR code on every bottle: the grove, the pressing, the filling, and the names behind each.
- Why it matters
- A steadier income in a changing climate, for the people whose craft the product is.

The rose argan
The Rosa Damaskina Cooperative.
Argan kernel oil and the essential oil of the Damask rose, the two scents of southern Morocco, in one bottle. Pressed by the women of the cooperative in small batches.

From seed to bottle, you can see who made it.
Hold your phone to the code on the label. The bottle opens onto its own story: the grove, the season, the cooperative, and the women who grew, pressed and filled it.
